Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund

The Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund provides funding to increase the supply and improve the quality of affordable housing in Nebraska.

The Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund (NAHTF) was established in 1996 to increase the supply and improve the quality of affordable housing in Nebraska. In 2013, the fund distributed approximately $10 million in CDBG funds, $2.7 million in HOME program funds, $690,000 in ESG funds, and $328,000 in HOPWA funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (authorized under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended); $2 million in funds from the HSATF and $6 million in NAHTF funds.
