Low-Income Housing Tax Credits & Rural Housing in Ohio, 2016-17

Ohio's 2016-17 QAP includes seperate pools for Rural Housing.

Ohio’s QAP includes a $3 Million funding target for proposed developments located in non-urban counties and involving acquisition and substantial rehabilitation of multifamily housing developments with HUD or USDA-RD subsidies. Ohio’s QAP also has a funding target of $5 Million for projects proposing the new development of housing in non-urban areas.

Ohio's 2016-17 QAP also includes a set aside of a minimum of one housing development in a low population county and one development in a mid-sized county.

A low population county is defined as a county with a total population of less than 50,000. A mid-sized county is defined as a county with a total population of 50,000 or more but less than 99,000.
